WIDEMAN MENNONITE CHURCH EVENTS

Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m.: – Ash Wednesday – We will have a short evening worship service to mark the beginning of Lent, including the imposition of ashes. Everyone is welcome.

Sunday, February 25 at Rouge Valley Mennonite Church: We invite you to attend the upcoming fundraiser lunch for the Youth service trip to California in March.

 UPCOMING EVENTS

 February 19th, 10 am-3 pm: Family Day Activities at Willowgrove.  In addition to outdoor snow activities, we will be having special activities to highlight our 50 years on the Willowgrove farm.  There will be a pioneer room with activities and the history of Willowgrove.  We are also partnering with Care and Share to do quilt tying and highlight our connection with MCC.  Food available for purchase.Cost for the event is $20 /car.

Saturday February 24 at 4:00: Coldest Night of the Year– Volunteers are needed to contribute a crock pot of chili for the Coldest Night of the Year walk in Stouffville . If you would like to provide this, please let Ken Driedger know or email donnaleadyck@restorecanada.org.

Saturday, March 3rd: The annual MEDA Spring Banquet is just around the corner – The banquet will take place at Floradale Mennonite church. Doors open at 6:15pm and dinner starts at 6:30pm. Saturday March 3 at 5:30 pm. Toronto Mennonite Festival (Black Creek Relief Sale) AGM will be held at Parkview auditorium (12184 Ninth Line, Stouffville). A soup supper will be provided.
