This week Pastor Ken Driedger will be on duty from Sunday through Thursday, but may be working from Elmira on Monday and Tuesday morning he might be in a meeting in Kitchener.

MCC Announcements

  • Send us your MCC comforters!
    We are loading a container destined for Jordan on March 29 and need another 1500 comforters. Please send us your completed comforters as soon as possible. Comforters can be dropped off at our Kitchener warehouse, your local thrift shop or regional office. Drop off locations are listed at mcco.ca/comforters. Thank you for all your efforts in producing these expressions of love for our friends around the world!
  • CoSA Volunteer Openings
    Circles of Support and Accountability seeks to make communities safer by forming support and accountability groups around released prisoners convicted of sexual offences. We need volunteers in the GTA, Hamilton and Kitchener to help make this happen. More info at mcco.ca/volunteer

Join us at sewing circle to quilt and tie comforters. Men and women are welcome.

Sunday March 25: The Elders have designated Palm Sunday as Covenant Sunday for 2018. On that day, we plan to receive some new members and publicly make our covenant commitments. If you’re interested in becoming a member, please speak to Ken.

Sunday night, March 25: Journey Church is inviting us to join them. A gospel choir from Christ Almighty Baptist Church in Scarborough is providing an evening of singing. The service begins at 6:00 pm. All are welcome.

March 30 at 10:30 a.m. : Good Friday worship will be at Rouge Valley MC.

Sat Apr 14 from 9 am to 3 pm: Responding to the world refugee crisis one family at a time at Conrad Grebel University College, 140 Westmount Rd N, Waterloo.
Attend this important one day conference to learn more about how we can respond to the current refugee crisis with noted blogger and passionate refugee sponsorship advocate Ann Voskamp and other special guests.
