LOOKING AHEAD – WIDEMAN MENNONITE CHURCH EVENTS

What Can’t Wait?  We know Advent to be a season of waiting, but is idle and passive waiting what God wants of us? To prepare to celebrate the coming of the Messiah, we will ponder together what things can’t wait.  What are the things that demand our immediate attention? What things call us to work and prepare? What can’t God wait for? Does He wait for our praise, reconciliation, and our sharing His Good News? Does He wait for the end of suffering, loneliness, and fear? This Advent, join us in imagining, and preparing for the celebration!  As we wait, what can’t?

¨ Sunday, January 5 at 9:45 a.m.:  Six month pastoral feedback and discussion regarding a further term. If you are unable to attend that day or wish to provide feedback privately, please contact any council member before January 5th
