York Region Public Health would like to communicate with faith communities regarding updates on the novel coronavirus. Please feel free to visit York.ca/coronavirus for information and updates. This website also provides Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in multiple languages (Arabic, Farsi, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese). York Region Public Health continues to be active in monitoring the situation locally and working very closely with community and hospital based health care providers to ensure reporting and share information. There is no evidence of community spread in Canada and the risk of acquiring the virus in the community remains low for York Region residents.
