Urgent message from Mennonite Central Committee Ontario: A little known consequence of generous gifts designated for specific and important causes like the earthquake in Nepal and the crisis in Syria is that our ongoing, and out-of-the-spotlight work in water, food, health and peacebuilding, is experiencing severe shortfalls. Add to this the impact of a falling Canadian dollar when most international work requires US funds, and we have a critical situation. We are asking individuals in our church communities to consider making an additional gift before our year-end on March 31 to help meet this funding shortfall. Address funds to “Where needed most.” For more information, contact us at MCC Ontario at 1-800-313-6226 or at mcco.ca.

The next installment of Sacred Trust: Fostering Safe Space in Congregations was emailed to many of you. If you would like a hard copy or electronic version of this MCEC resource, please contact Leah Harder in the church office.
