This week Pastor Ken Driedger will be on duty from Monday through Friday, but will be working from Elmira on Thursday and Friday .

 Canadian Mennonite subscriptions:  All who attend Wideman Mennonite Church may receive a subscription to Canadian Mennonite. The biweekly magazine is delivered in print, by email, or both. Subscriptions are paid for collectively through Mennonite Church Eastern Canada . To start a new subscription, add digital delivery to an existing print subscription, or switch to digital-only, please contact the church office. We will submit our congregation’s subscription list by March 16.

 Would you have a good single bed and one queen size box spring? Stouffville Restore has a family that is sleeping on the floor. They have been able to find a few beds for them, but they need these last two items. Please contact Donna Lea Dyck

Today, February 25 at Rouge Valley Mennonite Church: We invite you to attend the upcoming fundraiser lunch for the Youth service trip to California in March.

Tuesday, March 6, at 7:00pm: Pastor Ken will lead the second “Worship Leaders Workshop.” Everyone who leads worship or is interested in doing so is encouraged to participate.

Saturday March 24, 8:30-10:30am. Ladies’ Breakfast at the WMC Basement . Sign up sheet will be posted at the foyer.

Sunday March 25: The Elders have designated Palm Sunday as Covenant Sunday for 2018. On that day, we plan to receive some new members and publicly make our covenant commitments. If you’re interested in becoming a member, please speak to Ken.

March 30 at 10:30 a.m. : Good Friday worship will be at Rouge Valley MC.


Friday, March 2 at 2:00: Stouffville churches will observe World Day of Prayer at Lemonville United Church.

Saturday, March 3rd: The annual MEDA Spring Banquet is just around the corner – The banquet will take place at Floradale Mennonite church. Doors open at 6:15pm and dinner starts at 6:30pm. Saturday March 3 at 5:30 pm. Toronto Mennonite Festival (Black Creek Relief Sale) AGM will be held at Parkview auditorium (12184 Ninth Line, Stouffville). A soup supper will be provided.

Well have no fear, as we have the perfect evening plans for you! Fiona Mo and Jessica Yeung from Markham Chinese Mennonite Church are inviting you to their fundraiser Mystery dinner at Rouge Valley Mennonite Church at 5:30pm on April 14th, 2018  in support of the upcoming Yella 2018 trip to Israel-Palestine. This will be an evening with dinner, entertainment and fellowship! Fiona will be going as one of the faith leaders on the trip, and Jessica will be learning on her first trip abroad as a participant.
