Please join  Danielle LaFlamme family to celebrate the life of Douglas (Doug) Ross Longstaffe today, Sunday, January 19th. Toronto Botanical Garden – located in Edwards Gardens The Garden Hall (777 Lawrence Avenue East) 12PM-3PM.

Please pray for Yoel Masyawong’s daughter, Jobina, who is being treated for pneumonia in the Intensive Care Unit at McMaster Hospital in Hamilton, ON. Pray for her parents, Yoel and Matha, and her younger brother, Jonas. Pray also for Grace Lao Mennonite Church as they support their pastor and friends. Yoel is pastor at Grace Lao Mennonite Church and an MCEC Mission Associate; you can reach him at gracelao@golden.net.

 WIDEMAN MENNONITE CHURCH EVENTS

Tuesday, January 21 (9AM-2PM): WMCEC.  Join us at sewing circle to quilt and tie comforters. Men and women are welcome. Bring your lunch. Beverage will be provided.

Sunday, February 2:  Covenant Sunday.  Copies of the covenant are available by the mailboxes.

Sunday, February 9:  Soup lunch after the service to raise funds for the MDS trip to West Virginia. Details to follow.

SAVE THE DATE: February 22nd is the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in support of Restore Canada.  Please let Taucha know if you are able to walk with the WMC team, or sponsor us as we raise funds to help our neighbours in Markham-Stouffville!
