Pastor Taucha Inrig will be on duty Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week.

 Thank you to all those who participated in the Great Winter Warm Up event.  We completed 17 knotted comforters!  We pray God will bless the recipients of all the comforters with the knowledge that others around the world care about them an their families!

Sunday, February 9:  Soup lunch after the service to raise funds for the MDS trip to West Virginia. Details to follow.

SAVE THE DATE: February 22nd is the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in support of Restore Canada.  Please let Taucha know if you are able to walk with the WMC team, or sponsor us as we raise funds to help our neighbours in Markham-Stouffville!

MENNONITE COMMUNITY EVENTS

Sunday January 26, 2020 @ 12noon: Taste of El Salvador. Please join us in our first  fundraiser of 2020 at 1774 Queen St. East. Toronto. 3rd Floor. Come and savor the delicious and authentic beef and vegetables soup Salvadorian Style. See flyer attached for location, time and menu details. Thanking you beforehand for your solidarity and ongoing support. Funds raised on this event will go towards the Toronto Mennonite New Life Church congregational life. Entry is $10. “Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.” (Martin Luther King Jr.)

Saturday February 1: The next Markham Prayer and Praise gathering will be at Living Stone Assembly (3501 Kennedy Road, just south of Steeles Ave) at 6:30pm.
