Cemetery By – Laws: New By – Laws for the Cemetery have been posted on the north bulletin board and on the north entry door. This is a provincial requirement. The documents will be removed in 30 days as required by law. Anyone wishing a copy can reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or ask for a copy from Quesney. You should also note that the pricing for a Cemetery Lots have increased to $950.00 to reflect current market conditions. Grave markers are also a required purchase at $169.00 plus HST at $21.97 (Total $190.97) at the same time as a Lot purchase. Please reach out to Howard Fortier if you have any questions or concerns.

Canadian Mennonite subscriptions: All who attend Wideman Mennonite Church may receive a subscription to Canadian Mennonite. The biweekly magazine is delivered in print, by email, or both. Subscriptions are paid for collectively through MCEC. To start a new subscription, add digital delivery to an existing print subscription, or switch to digital-only, please contact Quesney. We will submit our congregation’s subscription list by March 25.

March 27, 7pm at Hagerman Mennonite Church. Please come to the initial meeting of the GTA local MCEC Truth and Reconciliation Working Group. This will be a “first conversation” to reflect on the vision that MCEC has for responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission through the creation of local working groups. Is there enough interest in the GTA to form a working group? What might the working group do? Here is your opportunity to be a part of this important conservation.
