Sun March 20 – We will be completing our series on Prayer.  Bring a bag lunch and join us upstairs in the “upper room” after worship for a 90-minute exploration of prayer using Jim Cymbala’s When God’s People Pray.

April 2, 9:30am – Toronto Mennonite Festival (MCC sale at Black Creek) Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and AGM at Parkview Village. Details to follow.

Thurs April 14, 6:30 pm – Willowgrove’s annual meeting at Parkview.

April 23 – Annual Women of Mennonite Church Eastern Canada Enrichment Day at the Rouge Valley Mennonite Church.  Our theme will be “This Is My Story, This Is My Song”. We will be focusing on experiences and stories of our women through the last ten decades. Registration forms will be available soon. Deadline to receive the registration form is April 9. We are only able to accommodate 225 participants total from all areas. 

April 29 & 30 – Mennonite Church Eastern Canada’s Annual Church Gathering in Leamington. Stuart Murray, author of The Naked Anabaptist will encourage us to discover God in our own neighbourhoods. For more information and to register, please visit mcec.ca/annual-church-gathering-2016.

Tues March 8, 7-9pm – Bible Study at Sheryl and Bob’s house. Jimmy Fallon starts his nightly monologue with “Here’s what everybody’s talking about”.  What are YOU talking about? Bring something (a photo, a link, an object) that represents or reminds you of something you’re talking about these days. In sharing together, let’s see… there may be a “stranger” walking with us that we don’t recognize… a “stranger” that might have something to share with us…

There are NO Friday night events on March 11 and 18 because of our March break service trip to Virginia.
