LOOKING AHEAD – WIDEMAN MENNONITE CHURCH EVENTS

 Wed., Oct. 10, from 7:00-9:00 pm – Calling all worship leaders! If you ever lead worship, or if you think you might like to lead worship someday, or even if you are just curious about leading worship, come join us in the church basement for our second “Worship Leaders’ Workshop.” Worshiping God is one of the church’s most important activities, and we want to be prepared to do it as well as we possibly can. 

Saturday Oct, 20: WMC Children Dinner and Auction, at 5:30pm.
All proceeds will go to MCC Water and Education Programs .

LOOKING AHEAD – MENNONITE COMMUNITY EVENTS

Saturday, September 29th, from 9.30 to 4:00: Toronto United Mennonite Church will be hosting a “Portable CMU” workshop, entitled, “Table Talk: Communion in Current Context.”  The workshop is led by Prof. Irma Fast Dueck from the Canadian Mennonite University.  Lunch is provided; please RSVP as soon as possible to Anita Tiessen (abtiessen@gmail.com).

 Today Sunday, September 23rd at 7:00pm : Stouffville monthly prayer meeting will be hosted by In2one Community Church, 6273 Main Street, Stouffville.

October 27: The Mennonite Historical Society of Ontario presents Living History: Indigenous and Mennonite Stories of Encounter, a day of listening, learning and conversation about our history on this land. Saturday, October 27, 10am-4pm at Conrad Grebel University College. Learn more and register for lunch: www.mhso.org.

Sunday, October 14: Hagerman Mennonite Church, Markham Chinese Mennonite and Markham Christian Worship Centre invite you to our Church Dedication and Celebration at 4581, 14th Ave, Markham.  Highlights of the day:  10 am Ribbon-cutting and dedication,  11 am Worship services in English and Cantonese,  1 pm Visitor tours,  2 pm Concert, and 5 pm Worship service in Tamil.  Visitors are welcome to come and go throughout the day.
