Ken Driedger will be in the church office/visiting Sunday through Thursday.
Hagerman and Markham Chinese Mennonite congregations will be relocating services to Central United Church in Unionville in preparation for construction on the 14th Ave site. Members of local Mennonite congregations are invited to a special Gospel music concert at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 25, the first day of services in the new location. A freewill offering will be taken for the Building Fund.
The New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale thanks you for the support and prayers we received for the 2017 Sale. It was a wonderful Sale with large crowds and beautiful weather. We are thankful and blessed. Our proceeds for the Sale total $330,000.
Our Welcome the Stranger refugee sponsorship group is excited to welcome Yasser, his wife Donia, sons Mustafa, Abdulrahman, Mohamad, Ahmad, and daughters Raghad, Abir and Ghadir (twins age 5). WIDEMAN MENNONITE CHURCH EVENTS
Tuesday, June 6 – WMCEC. Join us at sewing circle to quilt and tie comforters. Men and women are welcome. Bring your lunch, beverage provided.
Saturday, June 24, 9:00-11:30am: Rummage and Bake Sale. Proceeds will go to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Growing Hope in Niagara-Adopt an Acre Program, Canadian Foodgrains Bank . See Milissa Fortier for details.
A number of us participated on May 7 when Wideman Church hosted the EAP Worship Gathering. The next such worship gathering will be on Sunday, June 4, at 7 pm at Bethel Mennonite Church, 6772 Eighth Line W, Elora, ON. Bring Snacks to Share. Beverages Provided. Join us for worship, teaching and fellowship.
